Cultural initiatives, exhibitions and research activities
The CSSI promotes and participates in cultural initiatives, exhibitions, meetings and research activities dedicated to the history of European popular insurgencies.
These activities are developed in collaboration with cultural institutions, associations and local organisations, with the aim of promoting historical knowledge and encouraging cultural dialogue.
Exhibition “Revolution and Insurgencies”

In December 2025, CSSI organised the exhibition “Revolution and Insurgencies”, dedicated to the European historical context between the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars.
The initiative, held under the patronage of the Municipality of Ferrara, represented an opportunity for public engagement and historical insight.
